I have been teaching or studying how to teach for the past 15 years. Subjects taught include Life Sciences, Art, Meditation, and now Argentine Tango.

My meditation experiences began when I became a Reiki Practitioner. Energy work demands a focus and awareness that influenced the development of my meditation practices. I am currently studying the concepts of Tara Brach, a Vispassana teacher out of the D.C. area to enhance my practice. I teach Mindfulness Meditation, using a few different techniques which are simple and easy to learn and use in everyday life.

Dancing is pure joy for me. I began Argentine Tango lessons with Ron Gursky of Rugcutter's Dance Studio in 2006, learning a salon style of tango.   I danced regularly in NH, Portland, ME, and Boston, including regular attendance at the Boston Tango Festival and Tango de los Muertos. Influences include Miriam and Hugo, Tova and Carlos, Homer and Cristina, Brigitta Winkler, and Eric Jorissen.

I began teaching group Tango and Meditation classes in Exeter, NH in 2008. When I moved to Colorado in 2009,

I began to teach classes in Carbondale for Colorado Mountain College and was active in the tango community in the Roaring Fork Valley. I moved to Denver in late 2010 and began teaching with Tom Stermitz at that time. I opened Earthbeat Dance Studio in the fall of 2011.

Currently Tom and I teach in Fort Collins. I strive to build a cooperative and welcoming tango community for people of all ages.  I hostessed and DJ’d Milonga Sintesis, an Alternative Milonga for two years in Denver.

I am drawn to facilitate learning, growth and healing to those I encounter. I leave it up to my students to choose the path that works best for them.
